UI/UX Designer

About This Role

Giggrabbers is seeking an accomplished UI/UX Designer to lead experience design across web and mobile products for our client network. This is a freelance position suited to designers who can independently manage the full design process — from discovery and research through to developer-ready handoff — without requiring constant direction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability tests to ground design decisions in evidence
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and interactive Figma prototypes for web and mobile products
• Design polished, pixel-precise interfaces that balance aesthetic quality with functional clarity
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable component libraries
• Produce developer-ready handoff files with complete specs, assets, and interaction annotations
• Present and defend design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process — discovery, wireframes, and final UI — is required
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma including auto-layout, components, and variables
• Experience conducting user research and synthesizing findings into design decisions
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Clear written and verbal communication throughout the design review process
