Data Analyst

About This Role

Giggrabbers is seeking a Data Analyst to work across a variety of client engagements — from building dashboards and KPI reports to conducting deep-dive analyses that inform product, marketing, and operational strategy. This is a freelance position with high demand across industries including eCommerce, SaaS, finance, and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets
• Design and maintain analytical dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for ongoing client reporting
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from relational databases
• Conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis to surface patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Develop clear, audience-appropriate data visualizations and executive-ready reports
• Define and track KPIs aligned to client business goals across marketing, sales, and operations
• Collaborate with clients to frame business questions as analytical problems with measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Portfolio of analytical projects demonstrating end-to-end work from data extraction to insight presentation
• Advanced proficiency in SQL across PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool — Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent
• Ability to communicate findings clearly in plain language to non-technical stakeholders
